Skin care routine

Ok guys! I'm excited to share my routine and skin care products i use because I'm always getting so many compliments on my skin! and its really not just because I'm young. Before i got into skin care i would use any cheap cleanser and moisturizer on my face. Since ive been using better products, my skin is so much more glowey and bright! plus my makeup absorbs in and sits so much softer on my face. To me, my skin care routine is simple and easy. It might seem a little more complicated to those of you who don't use many products but once you work it into your morning and night routines it becomes an easy habit.

So i would say my skin is combination but this time of the year it seems more dry and dull. Growing up i baked in a tanning bed just about every day through highschool. I even tanned through the summer and when i wasn't in a bed i was laying by the pool! i never worried about my skin aging because i always looked healthier when i was tan. Then, when i turned 21 i really started to care about my skin.

Every 8 weeks i go to the skin center located in Mount Lebanon. There i receive microdermabrasion, a facial, and a chemical peel. The microdermabrasion exfoliates my skin and gets rid of dull, dry dead skin. It also treats large pores, signs of aging, and skin texture. The facial moisturizes and levels skin tone. Lastly, the chemical peel removes the outer layers of skin leaving a bright, more vibrant complexion.

Literally when i leave my face feels like a babys bottom!

When I'm not in for my treatments i do have an everyday routine at home. I recently started a routine with Rodan and Fields and I'm loving it! In the mornings i do a light cleanser and a light moisturizer. In the evening i use the Reverse line of Rodan and Fields. This line has 4 steps all helping to brighten my skin and even the appearance of discoloration.

Had i not been in the beauty industry, who knows when i would start taking care of my skin! Even though I'm young, my skin has drastically changed in the past 3-4 years.
